FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes a vanity unit modern in terms of design and function?
For us, modern design is all about functional minimalism. This means sleek, handleless silhouettes, integrated finger pulls, or contemporary fluted (reeded) textures that add depth without clutter. We also focus on modern materials that handle high-pressure environments, using marine-grade plywood rather than standard MDF. Inside, we use the latest Blum BLUMOTION hardware to ensure the user experience is just as smooth and sophisticated as the exterior.
Can I pair a modern vanity with a traditional stone basin?
Absolutely! In fact, we love the organic modern look created by pairing a sharp, contemporary cabinet with one of our natural Travertine or Marble basins. The contrast between the clean, painted lines of the unit and the raw, earthy texture of the stone creates a high-end, designer feel. It’s a great way to ensure your bathroom feels warm and inviting rather than clinical.
Are the finishes on your modern units resistant to fingerprints and steam?
We know that modern, matte, or dark finishes can sometimes be a worry for maintenance. That’s why we use professional-grade, moisture-resistant lacquers and paints. These finishes are designed to be steam-proof and are much more resilient against everyday marks than standard furniture paint. A simple wipe with a soft, dry cloth is usually all it takes to keep the velvet-smooth modern finish looking brand new.
