Looking After Your Marble

Spill management: always blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining or etching. Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Everyday cleaning:
use a pH-neutral cleaner designed for natural stone. Avoid acidic or abrasive products, which can damage the surface. After cleaning, rinse with water and dry to keep the marble streak-free.

Sealing:
a high-quality seal creates a protective barrier against splashes and stains. Marble should typically be sealed once a year, though heavily used surfaces may need more frequent attention. Perform the water test; if droplets bead on the surface, the seal is still effective. If the marble darkens as water absorbs, it’s time to reseal.

What to avoid:
always avoid harsh scrubbing pads, bleach-based solutions, or abrasive cleaners. These can scratch, corrode or dull the finish of your marble.

Maintenance Tips
Dust with a soft cloth to reduce scratches
Use coasters beneath glasses and hot items to prevent marks
Clean regularly to prevent buildup
Reseal as needed to maintain lasting protection
