What are Haddon upstands?

Our upstands also know as bathroom splashbacks are slim panels that sit behind the basin, countertop or vanity unit. They protect the wall where it is most exposed to water and give the join between the surface and the wall a clean, finished edge. Our upstands are vailable in matte white and in six natural marble stones: Carrara, Arabescato, Crema Marfil, Pietra Grey, Travertine and Panda.

How are bathroom upstands fitted?

Upstands are fixed using a bathroom-grade silicone adhesive applied to the back of the panel. A bead of silicone along the top and bottom edges finishes the installation and keeps water from getting behind it. No specialist tools are needed. Can bathroom upstands be cut to size?

Yes. Stone upstands can be cut with a fine-tooth saw to fit a non-standard width. Marble upstands can also be cut, though a diamond blade gives the cleanest edge. For guidance on the best approach for your specific stone, contact our team.
