Bathroom splashbacks and upstands to complete your basin

An upstand gives the basin area a finished, seamless quality. It protects the wall behind the basin from water and brings the basin and the wall together as one settled piece.

Our bathroom upstands and splashbacks are available in matte white and natural marble, sized to match a range of basin widths. Our stone ones offer a smooth, consistent finish that pairs well with stone basins and vanity units.

The marble upstands are available in Carrara, Arabescato, Crema Marfil, Panda, Pietra Grey and Travertine, each carrying the veining and tonal character of its stone for a finish that complements a marble basin.

For guidance choosing the right splashback for your basin, contact our team or browse our full range of bathroom accessories for more ways to finish your bathroom.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are Haddon upstands?

Our upstands also know as bathroom splashbacks are slim panels that sit behind the basin, countertop or vanity unit. They protect the wall where it is most exposed to water and give the join between the surface and the wall a clean, finished edge. Our upstands are vailable in matte white and in six natural marble stones: Carrara, Arabescato, Crema Marfil, Pietra Grey, Travertine and Panda.

How are bathroom upstands fitted?

Upstands are fixed using a bathroom-grade silicone adhesive applied to the back of the panel. A bead of silicone along the top and bottom edges finishes the installation and keeps water from getting behind it. No specialist tools are needed. For guidance on the right adhesive for your wall type, contact our team and we will be happy to help.

Can bathroom upstands be cut to size?

Yes. Stone upstands can be cut with a fine-tooth saw to fit a non-standard width. Marble upstands can also be cut, though a diamond blade gives the cleanest edge. For guidance on the best approach for your specific stone, contact our team.

Which upstand matches my marble basin?

Our upstands are available in the same six marble stones as the basin collection: Carrara, Arabescato, Crema Marfil, Pietra Grey, Travertine and Panda. The exact veining will vary between pieces as marble is a natural material, but the stone family is the same, giving the basin and upstand a consistent material character across the surface.
