FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How durable is the matte black kitchen tap finish?
Our matte black taps are made from solid brass with a specialist coating applied to the surface rather than a painted finish that sits on top and wears away over time. A soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner is all that is needed day to day. Avoid bleach-based sprays, acidic cleaners and abrasive pads, which can affect the surface over time.
Do matte black kitchen taps show water spots and fingerprints?
Water spots are more visible on a darker surface, so a wipe with a soft damp cloth after use is the simplest way to keep the tap looking its best. In hard water areas, drying the tap after cleaning helps the finish hold its depth and tone over time.
What does matte black pair well with in a kitchen?
Matte black sits well against white or lighter stone worktops, where the contrast gives the kitchen depth and definition. It works equally well within a darker palette, where the tap becomes part of a more consistent, settled feel throughout the room.
What guarantee covers matte black kitchen taps?
All our matte black kitchen taps carry a 15 year guarantee on the tap body and finish, a reflection of the quality of the brass and the care that goes into how each piece is made.
